In this holiday tale James Jonathan Zaxby, an easy-going modern urban mogul from Los Angeles is a bit bitter and indifferent about Christmas because of a personal tragedy he suffered. Like many people in our hurting world, James has managed to camouflage his pain with a suit, tie and briefcase. On Christmas Eve, while on his way to a business meeting in New York, this self-made millionaire is forced to make an emergency landing and finds himself helplessly stranded in the small southern town of Cricket Fence. There he meets the quirky Hackett family and encounters twists and surprises around every hilarious country-fried corner!
